I just minded my own business and didn't do anything that would catch any attention. I got to hang out on the stage, being maybe 8 feet from Pierre at some points. One of Pierre's team members/friends saw me walk up, I flashed my band and pointed to my friends, to which he thought I was part of their team.

I walked onto the stage and noticed a couple photographer friends who were there as well, but happened to be shooting directly for Pierre. The Lyrical Lemonade Summer Smash is the product of two of Chicago’s most well-respected platforms, joining forces to create a one-of-a-kind event catering to the city’s budding youth movement. Why this is a moment to me: This was right after I got to see Durk due his secret surprise set, which I really wanted to stay at due to me becoming a big fan of Durk in the last year.
